1. The biggest Polish sailing ship - Dar Młodzieży - has moored at the Chrobry Embankment in Szczecin. A hundred-meter-high vessel entered the harbor accompanied with the sounds of a military orchestra. Residents and tourists took pictures, recorded clips and shouted greetings.

The crew made a Mexican wave while everyone gathered at the wharf did the same. A total of about 70 vessels will moor in Szczecin for the finals of The Tall Ships’ Races. Everything you can see on the website of Radio Szczecin.

2. Now we go to see what’s going on in the region this weekend.

The 23rd Festival of Slavs and Vikings in Wolin has begun. There will be warfare and crafts demonstrations.The slogan of this year's edition is "From a shipwright to a raider".

More than 2,000 warriors and craftsmen from all over the world came to the event.
It was inaugurated by a colorful procession, which walked from the cathedral in Wolin to the open-air antique building museum. For the next few days, the visitors will be able to watch battles involving hundreds of warriors, taste the culinary delicacies of our ancestors, or learn old crafts - such as pottery or boatbuilding. The program also includes archery, javelin throwing and concerts. What's more, tomorrow there will be a competition for the most exquisite Viking beard and the most beautiful female braid held.

On Sunday an attempt to beat the world record in collective reading of Eddy Poetic fragments is scheduled. Shortly after, the event will come to an end. A detailed program of the festival can be found online at jomsborg-vineta.com.

3. It’s time for world news. It's postcard season in Europe and as millions of lucky holidaymakers jet off overseas, Europol is seeking help to deliver some "Wish you were here!" greetings.

The lucky recipients are the continent's most wanted men, and this is the latest police push to catch them. Holiday destinations have become to be popular hiding places for criminals on the run and they might even have chosen the same destination as many tourists.
The stylised postcards were created by Europol and ENFAST - the European Network of Fugitive Active Search Teams.

According to the BBC, each features one of Europe's most high-profile fugitives, who have committed serious crimes in 21 European Union countries. Their offences include murder, fraud, and drug trafficking.

The police hope the postcards' humour will ensure they're shared from the top of the Eiffel Tower to the shores of the Adriatic. Or, wherever the most wanted may be hiding.

The weather forecast for tonight is quite good. There will be no rain at all. However, the temperatures will have dropped to 17 centigrade by midnight. So better put on a warm jacket or a hoody.

1. Der Stettiner Hafen füllt sich mittlerweile immer mehr mit großen und kleinen Schiffen und Booten. Darunter auch die „Wrzaskun", die bei der Insel Grodzka, auf Deutsch Schlächterwiese, angelegt hat. An Bord befinden sich außer der Besatzung des Schlesischen Jachtklubs auch Pfadfinder und eine Gruppe von Blinden, die mit Unterstützung einer Stiftung an der Fahrt teilnehmen. Die Besatzung kommt Gliwice und hat die siebenhundert Kilometer lange Fahrt in einer Woche zurückgelegt. Morgen trifft sich das gesamte Team mit dem blinden italienischen Star-Tenor Andrea Bocelli, der am Samstag Abend mit einem Konzert das Finale des Tall-Ship-Races offiziell eröffnet.

2. Wie bereits früher heute berichtet stehen während des Finales des Tall Ships Races kostenlose Park & Ride-Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Sollten Sie also vorhaben mit dem Auto zum Regattenfinale zu kommen, nehmen Sie lieber die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel um ins Stadtzentrum von Szczecin zu kommen. Parkplätze stehen vor dem Großmärkten Makro und Selgros, auf dem Gelände der Internationalen Messe an der ulica Struga und vor dem Universitätsgelände an der ulica Cukrowa zur Verfügung.
Genutzt werden können auch der Parkplatz an der ulica Hangerowa in Szczecin-Dąbie. Insgesamt haben die fünf Parkplätze eine Kapazität von mehr als 1000 Autos. Nicht zu vergessen: Wer die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nutzt, muss einen Fahrschein kaufen.

3. Wem der Rummel in Szczecin nicht reicht kann dieses Wochenende auch noch nach Wolin fahren. Dort findet zum dreizehnten Mal das „Slawen- und Wikingerfestival" statt. Der Veranstalter rechnet mit mehr als zweitausend teilnehmenden Kriegern und Handwerkern aus der ganzen Welt. Auf dem Jahrmarkt in Wollin kann man auch die Küche unserer Vorfahren und altertümliche Berufe kennenlernen. Zum Programm gehört ein Wettbewerb um den schönsten Wikingerbart. Am Sonntag will man außerdem einen poetischen Weltrekord brechen. Geplant ist die längste Lesung aus Fragmenten der Edda-Sage. Informationen zum Festival unter jomsborg-vineta.com

4. Der Streit um die Busse der Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB) in Swinemünde geht in die nächste Runde. Der Bürgermeister der Stadt, Janusz Żmurkiewicz, hat Radio Szczecin erklärt, dass er nicht damit einverstanden ist, dass die UBB für den grenzüberschreitenden Verkehr öffentliche Haltestellen in Swinemünde nutzt. Vorerst fahren keine Busse mehr von der deutschen Seite nach Polen. Nächste Woche Dienstag ist ein Gespräch zwischen der deutschen und polnischen Seite geplant, um den Konflikt zu lösen.
